Chocolate Syrup Ingredients: 1 cup Cocoa 1 cup Water 1u002F2- 3u002F4 cup Maple Syrup, Honey, or Cane Sugar (Depending on your sweet preference) 1u002F2 Tbsp Vanilla 1u002F4 tsp Salt Directions: In a sauce pan combine water, cocoa, sugar, vanilla and salt. Bring everything to a boil over mediumu002Flow heat. Boil for 5 minutes whisking constantly. (I mean it, don't walk away or the chocolate may burn.) The chocolate will start to thicken as it reduces. Remove from heat. Add to chocolate sauce to a glass jar, cover and add to the fridge. It will thicken more as it cools. Syrup is good for 2 months in the fridge!
